kayla lebaron design
well hello there
My name is Kayla. I'm an interior designer, mother of three, wife, stylist, sub-par homemaker, blogger, volleyball lover, binge reader, amateur photographer, believer, party/hosting enthusiast and a professional avoider of laundry. I've worked free-lance off and on over the last 8 years in interior design while raising my kids and staying at home with them. As much as I love my family and being home, I'm to a point where I can give my passions and dreams a little more attention. This blog is an outlet for me to share my home projects, client projects, the design process, tips, ideas, resources, failures and limited knowledge of life hacks.
People always ask me what my design style is and I cant say I really focus on one design style but if I had to pick a few words it would be fresh - modern - curated - livable - timeless design. I love a little of every style and I am a firm believer that every room needs something black and something vintage. A room should tell a story and artwork should be just too beautiful you can't live without it or mean something to you. Homes should be livable and comforting and there is nothing better when I help a client achieve that. I truly have a passion for it and love sharing it with others.
