chandeliers under $150

I've been on a mission to replace the lighting in our townhome. We are still renting but we plan on being here a while and will put the original one back up before we leave. Easy Peasy.

I've told myself so many times "It's not worth it since we are in a rental." I've decided I hate that attitude and I refuse to do it anymore. So first up...THE DINING AREA.

Ever wondered how to get the right size of lighting for a space? I have a rule of thumb and its just basic addition.

WIDTH OF ROOM + LENGTH OF ROOM = MINIMUM DIAMETER or SIZE

This rule just ensures that you have the right proportion fixture to the space. This also does't mean that you can't go bigger or use multiple smaller lights. But for a single light in a dining room, bedroom or study it works like a charm.

Now, with that said I still don't want to spend a ton of money replacing all the lighting only to have it not work in my next place. So I rounded up some of my favorite stylish but budget friendly chandeliers. You guys! They are all under $150 and at least 18"+ wide. Some are even 40". I love so many of them and all different styles. Lighting is a place where you can push your design a little bit. I even ordered one of these for my Dining Area. Care to guess which one?
